Aim

The aim of the symposium is to survey and integrate the most recent research and theories related to social judgments and decisions. Invited participants will be asked to prepare an advance draft of their paper before the symposium, presenting a major review and synthesis of their empirical and theoretical contribution to this field. The symposium will be devoted to the presentation and detailed discussion of each of the papers. There will also be ample opportunity for informal social activities, as well as exploring Sydney, a beautiful cosmopolitan city with numerous natural and cultural attractions.

Symposium contributions will be subsequently published in an integrative volume. Seven Sydney Symposia have been held so far, and all attracted a highly distinguished group of contributors (for an overview of past symposia,
